National Christian Education Research Project

Craig Mitchell has been appointed to undertake a two year study regarding the future of Christian Education in the UCA.

The Project seeks to determine the possible role and priorities of the Assembly in fostering effective Christian education in congregations. It includes both theoretical and empirical analysis of educational leadership and congregational resourcing. This is taking place in 2011 and 2012. Craig Mitchell has been seconded from the Uniting College for Leadership and Theology in Adelaide, where he is a member of the teaching faculty. Craig has long experience in Christian education in the Uniting Church, having worked in congregational, presbytery, synod and assembly roles over 30 years.
