(Max Howland, President UCAF in SA launches Salisbury history)
The Pleasant Sunday Afternoon featured musical items, greetings and reminiscences, good congregational singing plus the Birthday Cake ceremony with cake cut by Betty Sharp, member since 1970. Displays focussed on past 'missionary' members, Packing Day, Leprosy Mission (regular support over 38 years) and Stamp collecting.

It is recorded that in July 1911 a groups of ladies 'whose hearts were inspired with love for the Missionary cause' were the foundation of WAOM.
Over the years faithful women have continued to be 'inspired with love' and have achieved great things, but while members can be proud of the past they must look forward to continue supporting the growth of Christ's kingdom in whatever way they can. And may God be praised and given all the glory, 'for great things he has done'. Coralie Wright
