Assembly Circles of Interest
Learn, Contribute, Connect
Do you want to join in the work of the Uniting Church nationally?
The Assembly Circles of Interest are a new platform for learning and sharing, contributing your own ideas and connecting with others who are as passionate about things as you.
Together, the seven circles encompass some of the core values of the Uniting Church and how we contribute to God’s mission in the world.
The seven Circles of Interest are:
- Walking Together as First and Second Peoples
- Being a Multicultural Church
- Seeking Common Ground
- Working for Justice
- Discipling the Next Generations
- Growing in Faith
- Transforming Worship

Once you join a circle, you will be connected via regular email communication and have the option to join circle conversations on Facebook. Circle members will also receive a Welcome Pack outlining the values of your Circle and other important information.
An Advocate has been appointed to each circle to nurture and encourage activity, conversation and input from circle members. They are supported by Panel Members - people with particular gifts and expertise in that area of interest.
It is hoped the seven circles will be a sharing and learning space where those who join are stretched, their faith is deepened and together we listen to where God is leading the Church.
