UCAF National Celebration

Joan Stott Bursary

The National Committee is in the process of preparing the information to be sent out to all States ready for applications for the 2013 bursary.

If you know of anyone under the age of 35 years and is studying theology and who would benefit from receiving a bursary of $1,500 (payable to the institution at which they are studying) please contact the Secretary of the UCAF in your State.

Neighbour Connect

The National Committee is excited about the concept of Neighbour Connect.

Neighbour day is 31 March however it is recognized that the month of March presents an opportunity for groups to focus any events during this time.

The concept is to encourage groups and individuals to hold events such as morning teas, lunches or social activities with the specific intention of:

  • Building relationship that grow new beginnings at local, national and international levels over the next three years.
  • Developing concepts of Peace, harmony and Understanding;
  • Encouraging New Beginning – News Friendships – New Ideas for a new future;
  • Moving outside our comfort zones to reach out to those beyond our regular circle;
  • Breathing new life and direction into Adult Fellowship Groups.

Each UCAF affiliated group should by now have received a booklet outlining the concept.  If you have not received a copy please contact Barbara Bennewith (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and one will be forwarded to you.
