It is a joy for me to be part of the celebrations today, as we pray God’s blessing on this new office space, and the staff and the services of UnitingCare Australia. 

The Uniting Church in Australia gives thanks for its agency, UnitingCare Australia and its faithful witness to the compassion, justice, and healing that is at the heart of Jesus’ ministry and mission.

Gracious and loving God,

We give thanks for the Uniting Care Australia network of community services that express God’s love for all people, through their faithful service of the Australian community. 

We thank you for their advocacy and voice for justice and dignity for all people, particularly those who experience disadvantage and marginalization. 

We pray for all those who have responsibility for leading Uniting Care Australia,

For Claerwen Little and her leadership as national Director. 

For Bronwyn Pike as Chair of the UnitingCare Board and for the Uniting Care Board members.

We pray for the staff of UnitingCare Australia and thank you for their dedication and care for the people they serve.

We thank you for this office and for all of those whose gifts and skills have contributed to the creation of this space. 

We dedicate this office space to your service.

God of love, bless all who work, meet and gather here with the gift of your loving and compassionate presence. 

We pray that this will be a fulfilling, supportive and life-giving working environment.

May this office be a place of mutual respect, hope, and peace.

Give wisdom and courage to all who gather here, as they advocate to government for a just and compassionate Australian society.
