Rev Dr Seforosa Carroll
Rev Dr Carroll works in UnitingWorld alongside our partner churches in the Pacific - leading challenging conversations on gender-based violence, women in leadership and climate change.
She firmly believes in the powerful role of theology in bringing about transformative change.
Sef graduated with a PhD in Theology at Charles Sturt University in 2015 and continued on as a Research Fellow of the Public and Contextual Theology Research Centre and guest lecturer at the School of Theology.
Rev James Bhagwan
Rev Bhagwan is the General Secretary of the Pacific Conference of Churches, and previously the Secretary for Communication and Overseas Mission for the Methodist Church in Fiji.
James has a keen interest in Contextual Theology and Social Ethics. He has been involved in a number of social issues including HIV and AIDS, gender-based violence and child protection, climate change and racial and religious tolerance.

Rev Dr Vicky Balabanski
Rev Dr Vicky Balabanski is an ordained Uniting Church in Australia minister and Senior Lecturer in New Testament at Flinders University’s Uniting College for Leadership and Theology.
She has lived and worked in various parts of Europe, the Middle East and Asia, including a year in Jerusalem as a post-doctoral fellow at the Hebrew University.
Rev. Dr Balabanski contributed to the international Earth Bible Project, which has produced a series of books that seek to read the Bible in the shadow of the ecological crisis facing Earth.
